New Small Group:  “GOD Seekers for Young Ladies”   

Mrs. Yvonne Roman has started a new small group just for young ladies who desire to grow deeper in Christ. Come enjoy a time of singing praises, praying for needs and seeking the Lord and HIS righteousness.  "Many will be blessed, healed, delivered, encouraged, uplifted, empowered and set apart for HIS Glory.” The address is 11328 SW 189 Terrace, Miami, FL 33157 (in the square).  The group meets every other Wednesday.  Upcoming meeting dates: April 1st & 15th @ 7:30 pm

What is Fine Arts?  Why participate in Fine Arts?  How do I join the Relevant Fine Arts team? Pick up a Rules book in the youth office.  To join email Pastor Anthony (anthonyharman@upperroomassembly.com).  Or call the church at 305-251-0876 and ask for Pastor Anthony.

2010 Important Dates:

• Friday February 5th cookie fundraiser money due $5.
• Saturday February 13th cookie bake at Mrs. Lisa's house 8 a.m.
• Sunday February 14th cookie sales $10.
• Friday February 19th deadline to sign up for Fine Arts.
• Sumday February 21st Dessert Theater tickets distributed.
• Sunday February 21st District Fine Arts Mtg. Parent's/Students 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall
• Sunday Febraury 21st Registration Deadline with fee. $20 per category, $15 each additional catg.
• Sunday March 28th Distirct Trip Expense Due (TBA).
• Saturday April 17th Dessert & Theater $7, each youth will receive 10 tickets.
• District Fine Arts April 22-24th in Orlando Fl.

Project 12

REACH to repair, TEACH to prepare, REPEAT to capture a Friend in 2010......

 

Everyone is called by God, whether called to lead a new movement in your school, called to be a sharer of good news, a spreader of good news, an influencer, or maybe you are a young teacher. The question is not if you are called, but rather will you answer when your name is selected? Project 12 will train 12 young men in the leadership gifts given by Christ as Lord. RELEVANT Student Ministries goal is to "EQUIP": repairing, preparing, and releasing a CHOSEN GENERATION to reach a lost geneation. Project 12 will include: mentoring, training, imparting, and discipleship all aimed at preparing a CHOSEN GENERATION to save a lost generation through the love of Jesus Christ.

The greatest opportunity for youth to share Christ is on their campus. I'm calling RELEVANT students to participate in your schools First Priority/bible club gathering. Visit your schools activities office and learn more. Be a campus missionary.
